(Walnut, CA) Mt. San Antonio College (4-1) rolled to a 3-0 non-conference win over visiting MiraCosta College (1-3) on Wednesday, Sept. 7.

The Mounties' first goal came in the 30th minute when Izzy Montelongo scored on an assist from Sasha Lopez. Ava Ochoa tallied the next goal on an assist from Montelongo in the 40th minute to put the hosts up 2-0 at the half. Fatima Arnold accounted for the final score of the game on an assist from Ayuka Toshimoto in the 78th minute.

Goalies Leila Peregrina (71 minutes, two saves) and Jennifer Sanchez (19 minutes) combined in the shutout victory.

Next up for Mt. SAC is a non-conference home match against San Diego Mesa College (0-1) on Monday, Sept. 12, at 6 p.m.
