The West Valley men's water polo team battled a huge Highway 1 traffic jam and, once in the water, the Cabrillo College Seahawks Wednesday afternoon in Aptos. The Vikings returned to Saratoga with a dominant 23-8 win that moved them to 2-0 in the Coast Conference. Ben Fleming and Miguel Navarro paced the offensive stat sheet with six goals apiece and Xavier Casabella grabbed ten steals and found the back of the net three times. West Valley (4-8, 2-0 Coast) entertains Diablo Valley (11-1, 2-0 Big 8) and Las Positas (6-13, 1-1 Coast) Friday (10/11) in the 2019 Larry Invitational. The ball drops at 10:10am (DVC) and 11:20 (LPC).
