The Bulldogs (8-3, 2-1 WSC) opened the game with a seven-run showing after a sacrifice fly to left from Madison Gamble plated the first run of the contest. Two runners scored after back-to-back walks with the bases loaded before Danica Black drove in a pair on a deep double to center field. The home squad managed to plate two additional runners after an error by the Raiders (1-14, 0-4 WSC) before the inning closed.

Bats remained hot for Hancock in the second frame as the team rattled off six hits while scoring nine runs. Glidewell, Alexia Juarez-Wilhite, and Abigail Salazar led the offensive effort with RBI singles while three runners scored on bases-loaded walks and two made it home after ground-out plays.

Moorpark managed to squeak a runner through in the top of the third after a deep double to left-center, but the home crew responded with a four-run display in the bottom of the frame. Antoinette Terrones and Juarez-Wilhite drove in one run apiece with RBI singles while Briana Munoz earned a bases-loaded walk and Xchelle Glidewell drove in one on a ground out to the pitcher.

Munoz earned the win on the rubber after allowing one earned run and striking out one batter through three innings of work. Delayna Quezada twirled for the final two innings of the day, allowing one hit and tossing one strikeout, but did not factor into the final decision.
