Warriors Batter Rams on the Road

VICTORVILLE, Calif. - The El Camino College Warriors baseball team pounded out 18 runs for the second consecutive game on Thursday in an 18-0 win on the road at Victor Valley.

The Warriors (20-9) outscored the Rams 36-to-0 in the home-and-away series. 

The Warriors had 11 hits for the game and took advantage of 11 free passes.  Joey Replogle had three hits, Brendan McAndrews, Dylan Knowles, and Connor Meidroth all had at least two hits in the game.  Eight different Warriors had at least one RBI in the game.  Joey Replogle and Connor Meidroth both had 4 RBIs a piece.  Elijah Tolsma and Patrick Stark also had 3 RBIs.

The Warriors pitching staff tossed another complete game shutout.  David Case led the way with five innings and struck out seven.  Mike Mulkey, Jake Stolnack, Cameron Sims, and Pierce Kingston each tossed a scoreless frame in the game.

The Warriors return home for two more non-conference matchups next week.  They take on Glendale on Thursday at 2:00 pm and Santa Ana on Friday at 2:00 pm.
