Compton, Calif. – Freshman Joshua Evans went 1 for 4 driving in two RBIs but the Tartars (3-12) fell to San Diego City (10-4) on Friday evening, 15-3.

Freshman Christian Juarez went 2 for 4 driving in a single RBI. Sophomore Michael Fletcher started on the mound for the Tartars. In two and a half innings he struck out one batter and allowed eight hits and eight runs.

The Tartars will play again on Tuesday March 3 against Rio Hondo (8-9) with a 2 p.m. start time.
