TORRANCE, Calif. - The El Camino College women's soccer team opened up South Coast Conference play with a 0-0 draw against Compton College on Tuesday afternoon at the ECC Soccer Field.
The Warriors (3-4-2, 0-0-1) dominated the run of play for most of the game. They outshot the Tartars (2-1-3, 0-0-1) 16 shots-to-7 shots. The Warriors had nine shots on goal compared to Compton's two shots on goal. The Warriors had plenty of opportunities to score but couldn't get it past the Compton keeper.
Karlee Clark started in goal and made two saves. Meliza Lopez made eight saves for Compton.
The Warriors will face Rio Hondo College on Friday at home. Kick-off is set for 4:00 PM after the men's game
