Marysville, Calif. - The Solano baseball team was edged in game two of the series at Yuba, 6-5, on Thursday afternoon.

Freshman Austin Menesini recorded his second-straight game with a home run, counting three RBI and going 2-for-4 on the day. Freshman Michael Vena backed him up with a 1-for-3 outing with a two-RBI triple.

Freshman Dylan Tostrup (0-5) was the pitcher of record, starting the game and going four innings. He allowed six hits, while striking out four, and all six 49er runs were earned.

The Falcons (3-15, 0-2) wrap up the three-game series against Yuba at home on Friday, Mar. 18 starting at 1 p.m.
