8-0 Victory Earns Hawks Co-Conference Championship

Sacramento, CA - CRC took the field with the goal of maintaining momentum heading into state playoffs. With an 8-0 victory, the Hawks earned the title of Co-Conference Champions in the Big 8! This is the first title for the Hawks since 2004, despite a number of close finishes. For Head Coach Ron Preble, this is his 3rd conference Championship, with 2 more during his tenure as an assistant coach. CRC will serve as a road team during the first round of playoff action. 

During the season, the Hawks recorded a 7-2-1 conference record and a 10-7-3 overall record. The Hawks scored 26 goals during conference play which led the conference over Folsom Lake College. CRC also allowed the fewest goals in conference with only 7 shots finding the back of the net. Overall, the Hawks tallied 58 total goals, good for 6th in the state. On the defensive end, CRC limited their opponents to 22 goals which is tied for the 17th lowest in state. 

Up Next - The Hawks hit the road to take on conference opponent, Folsom Lake College during the first round of playoffs. The Hawks split the season series with the Falcons falling in the first game (1-2) and winning the second (3-1) at home. The gametime is currently TBA.
