The Western State Conference Championships (March 31st -April 2nd & April 8th) began with 3 out of 5 Corsairs advancing to Day 2 (April 1, 2022) at Ventura College.
Nicole West and Kai Nikchevich advanced in doubles with an 8-0 win in first round action.
Veronica Gerlach advanced in the singles draw with an 8-2 win in the first round.
West and Nikchevich, respectively seeded 1st and 6th in the singles event received byes today and begin singles play tomorrow, April 1, 2022.
NOTES:
West and Nikchevich finished the season at no. 1 doubles with a perfect 11-0 record. Today's doubles win in the WSC Championships raised their overall record as a doubles team to 12-0.
