Irvine, CA- Cypress women's volleyball (2-0, 2-0 OEC) traveled to the Irvine Great Park to take on Saddleback College (0-2, 0-2 OEC) in the first match of the 2021 season. The Chargers won both matches by the score of 3-1 on Friday afternoon. 

Amanda Risch and Amanda Vos paired up and dominated their #3 matchup in both games on Friday. They won game one of the double header, 21-12 and 21-5 and game two, 21-9 and 21-10. Lauren Adamo and Kaelie Tulette also won their matchup against the #2 pair from Saddleback in game one, 21-18 and 21-10. Miranda Telles and Alexis Flores split their matchup on Friday, but won game two of the double header, 21-18 and 21-5. Allison Arriola and Julie Martinez paired as the #4 group in the second match and won, 21-13 and 21-6.

UP NEXT: Cypress will be back on the beach Friday, April 23rd to take on Orange Coast College at 10am and 12pm.
