Falcons roll past Golden Eagles
Happy to just get a chance to play after two smoke-related cancellations, the Folsom Lake women's soccer team turned in another dominant performance on Friday afternoon as they shut out Feather River 10-0 at Falcon Stadium. Seven different Falcons scored in the first half of play as the Falcons built a commanding 7-0 lead, starting with Annette Medina's goal just three minutes into the match. Freshman forward Avery Pieri scored the Falcons' fourth goal midway through the first half, then added two more goals in the second half to lead the team with three goals. Freshmen forwards Jasmine Alvarez and Kaia Mills both scored a goal and recorded an assist, while freshman defender Kaidin James tallied two assists.
The Falcons will return to action on Friday when they travel to Clovis for a 4:00 pm start.
