BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College women's soccer team hosted the Cuesta Cougars on a breezy Tuesday late afternoon match up and came away with another home win, 2-0.
The first half started slow and quiet for both sides and ended scoreless.
Into the second half a little more momentum came from BC as the ball moved offensively. Bakersfield kept majority of the pocession on their side and scored the first goal around the 60th minute from forward Moriah Myers-Caldarella. The last goal of the game came about five minutes later from freshman Denise Ortiz Perez.
With the win, the Renegades improve to 4-0-1 overall. They will stay at home for two more matches, Friday against Ventura and next Tuesday versus Antelope Valley.
