Bakersfield, CA – Renegade Softball hosted Cuesta for a doubleheader on Thursday afternoon, dropping both games to the Cougars by the exact same score of 8-3 in both contests.

In both games the Cougars came on strong late in the game to secure the wins. Ariana Gutierrez led the Renegades with three RBI's in the first game and in the second game Gutierrez and Jayden Beam lead the team with three hits each.

Softball now drops to 1-3 overall. On Saturday (4/17) they travel to play a doubleheader at Cuesta starting at 12pm/2pm before they start Western State Conference (WSC) play the following week.
