Compton, Calif. – Freshman Mandy Zuniga went 2 for 2 in Thursday's game against Pasadena City (7-7, 5-3) with a single RBI, but the Tartars (1-12, 1-8) lost 14-2.

Sophomore Taina Cruz went 1 for 3 and also drove in a single RBI.

Freshman Lesly Lamas pitched for the Tartars striking out one batter and walking seven in her five innings of work. She also allowed 16 hits and 14 runs.

Compton will play again at home against Mt. San Antonio on Thursday March 5 with a 3 p.m. start time.
