The Giants (2-7) got on the board early with a sacrifice fly in the opening frame that plated one before mid-game heroics pushed the visiting squad ahead. The Bulldogs (5-4) took the lead after two runners capitalized on a COS error in the fourth before surging forward with a five-run rally in the fifth. Isaiah Hernandez sparked the scoring frenzy with an RBI single before four base runners eventually made it home on errors, but Sequoias responded with a pair of runs in the bottom of the frame.

In the sixth, Brayan Nunez plated a runner and found his way home on a passed ball before the Giants scored two with a pair of hits. Both teams scored one run apiece in the seventh after infield ground outs that sent a runner in.
