Falcons fall at Sac City, 6-4

On Saturday afternoon, the Panthers were the ones taking the early 3-0 lead after 2 innings.  The Falcons answered back in the fourth inning, scoring a run without the benefit of a hit as they worked four walks.  Trailing 4-1 in the sixth inning, the Falcons parlayed four walks, a sacrifice fly, and a groundout into 3 runs – again scoring without recording a hit – to tie the game at 4-4.  But the Panthers responded with a walk, a double, and a single to go ahead 6-4.  In the seventh, the Falcons got the potential tying run on base when Isiah Haynes and Chad Leonard singled.  But both would be stranded when Hunter Dunithan struck out to end the game.  Even though the Falcons mustered only three hits in the game, they managed to make it a close game thanks to 10 walks.
