Bakersfield, CA – The Renegade Softball team hosted LA Mission College on Monday night at the Dean and Adah Gay Sports Complex and came out on the wrong end of a 12-3, 5-inning game, falling to 1-1 in conference.

The Renegades struggled in the circle, going through three pitchers and giving up 12 runs. Jumping ahead quickly to a5-2 lead, the Eagles poured on six runs in the third and were on their way to their first conference victory of the season.

Arianna Gutierrez took the loss for BC. She allowed seven hits and five runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking one.

They now drop to 9-10 on the season and will next play at Canyons this Thursday (3/12) at 2:30pm.
