Huskies Earn First Win of the Season at Home, 3-1

The 2021 iteration of East Los Angeles College women's volleyball is a roster full of freshmen with a sole sophomore. Said sophomore, OH Katherine Chiquini, helped lead an balanced effort as the Huskies beat the Vaqueros of Glendale College 3-1 (25-9, 20-25, 25-17, 25-18). Chiquini lead ELAC with 13 kills, followed by Stacy Ventura with 10 kills and Megan Melendez with 9. LIB Jessica Apodaca had a team-high 20 digs, follwed by OH Soliel Cardenas with 16.
