Another day, another victory for the GCC baseball team, its 11th straight overall and 10th in WSC play as they beat second place Citrus College 10-4 Wednesday March 30 at Stengel Field. The win comes on the heels of the most recent state poll which has the surging Vaqs ranked No. 5 while the CCCBCA has Glendale ranked No. 3 in Southern California.

Glendale pounded out 13 hits on the day with Brandon Nguyen, Adrian Gonzalez and Izzy Madariaga each having two hits with Nguyen hitting a double and a triple, Madariaga doubling twice, Gonzalez tripled, and Hans Seo doubled in support of starting pitcher Aaron Suval, who struck out seven in his four innings of work. Relief pitcher Joseph Estrada got the win and Chris Lozano and Matt Tamura finished up on the mound for GCC.

Glendale has two games left this week with Citrus, Thursday March 31 at Citrus at 2:30 pm and Saturday April 2 at home at 1 pm at Stengel Field.
