The hit parade for the GCC Baseball Team produced 18 hits and 14 runs Saturday March 19 at Bakersfield and resulted in a 14-3 win to sweep the three game WSC South series this week against the Renegades. Winners of seven straight games, the Vaqueros extended their conference lead to two games over three teams and improved their record to 6-0 in conference and 17-5 overall and are ranked No. 3 in the latest CCCBCA Poll.

Brando Nguyen, Hans Seo and Aaron Suval each had three hits for Glendale while the team compiled seven extra base hits. Starting pitcher Kenji Pallares got the win to improve to 5-0 this season and over his five innings of work he struck out five and allowed six hits and one earned run. Aaron Treloar, Brandon Doehne and Reece Matheisen pitched well in relief for the Vaqs.

Glendale has two of three games at home this week against second place L.A. Mission, Tuesday March 22 at 2:30 pm and Saturday March 26 at 1 pm at Stengel Field. They play at L.A. Mission Thursday March 24 at 2:30 pm.
