Falcons Remain Undefeated in BVC Play with Sweep of Contra Costa

San Pablo, Calif. - The Solano women's volleyball team remained undefeated in conference play after a sweep of Contra Costa (25-5, 25-14, 25-10) on Friday evening.

"We have had several postponements, so I am happy we got a match in this week," Solano women's volleyball head coach Darla Williams said. "We will be busy the next two weeks with extra matches. Once again this win was a team effort with everyone contributing."

Freshman Dani Rydjord led the way for the Falcons with 12 kills and three aces. Freshman Sammy Brown added six kills and six digs. Defensively, sophomores Kailyn Kaiser and Mylei Moli paced the backcourt and net defense with Kaiser tallying 11 digs and Moli earning five blocks.

"We are the only undefeated team left in the BVC," Williams said. "And we will be hosting several teams sitting in second place."

Solano (15-11, 8-0) kicks off a three-match week by hosting Yuba on Monday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m.
