First-team All-State pick Zakiya Mahoney leads the outstanding Chabot team

In an awful way to end a fine season for the Chabot women's basketball team, today's CCCAA Championships at West Hills College were canceled due to concerns over the COVID-19 virus.
Chabot (24-6, 8-2 Coast North) was set to face Mt. San Antonio in the quarterfinals this afternoon.
Chabot had playoff wins over Fresno and Merced after tying for first place in the conference. The Gladiators won the 2015 state title under current coach Mark Anger.
