2s and 3s find a way against Spartans, fall to Olympians

SAN DIEGO, CA (4/8/2022) -- Palomar fell to both San Diego Mesa College and MiraCosta College on Friday. In a rematch from the week before, the Comets got two wins against the Spartans as the 2s (Masha Molnar/Arielle Vannoy) and 3s pairs (Alana Lacangan/Kenna Broach) found a way to get the job done. The 1s (Holland Hancock/Olivia Van Der Brink) pairs reached a third set decision but ultimately fell in the end. The team lost 0-5 to Mesa and 3-2 to MiraCosta.

The Comets are now 3-9 overall and will host Grossmont College and Mt. San Jacinto College on Friday morning in Carlsbad. The match will begin at 9 a.m.
