Cuesta Softball has been on tear through the pandemic.  In the past two shortened season the Cougars have gone 25-8, including 9-1 last Spring.  The Cougars expect more of the same as their 2022 campaign progresses but were caught short-handed on opening day and dressed only nine players.  The Cougars hosted LA Mission in their 2022 season-opener and fell, 4-0, to the visiting Eagles.  Freshman Pitcher Jillian Davis hurled a complete game in the setback, while also connecting on offense for one of the Cougars four hits.

Cuesta shall get another shot at LA Mission tomorrow as part of a three-team mini tournament in SLO.  Cuesta opens the day against LA Mission at 10 AM and plays San Bernardino Valley at 2 PM.  The Eagles and Wolverines also play each other at Noon.
