MOORPARK, Calif. - The Santa Ana College Football team found itself in a battle against the Moorpark Raiders (1-1) in its week two matchup on Saturday night. 

With 58 seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter and the score tied at 31, the Dons (0-2) got the ball back at their own 25 yard line. They attempted to move the ball down the field to get into field goal position but instead went three and out, giving the Raiders one more possession with 33 seconds remaining. 

Moorpark was then able to advance the ball to the SAC 20-yard line where they called a timeout before kicking the game winning 36-yard field goal. 

Ceasar Ayala threw for 381 yards with four touchdowns to lead the SAC offense. Receiver Kyran Hayes, was one of his top targets as he posted a career day with nine catches for 112 yards and two touchdowns. Kristian Constantine added five receptions, 86 yards and his own touchdown. 

Jamiel Henning did the bulk of the work at running back, collecting 45 yards on 12 attempts. He also caught three passes for 33 yards and a touchdown out of the backfield. 

Defensively, the Dons saw Jaden Genova linebacker making plays throughout the game on his way to a team high four tackles. Defensive backs Arron Chaney II and Elijah Dunbar stood out on the stat cheat as they combined for seven pass breakups. 

With the loss, Santa Ana drops to a record of 0-2 while the Raiders improve to 1-1. The Dons will be on the road again on Saturday to take on Pasadena City College in a rematch of the 2021 SoCal Bowl. PCC is 1-1 this season after defeating Santa Monica 27-20 in week two.
