Panther softball hit the field again on Saturday following up their Friday sweep with two more wins at Glendale.
In Game 1 against the Vaqueros, the Panthers led the entire game, scoring a total of 23 runs including 11 in the 7th inning. Violet Salazar led the charge with five runs, 3 hits and two RBIs. Lorissa Avila scored four, Madison Randall, Coralyn Garcia and Sabrina Garcia three each. Alyah Rueff and Celeste Paniagua rounded out the run count. Paniagua also pitched the complete game, striking out five batters.
Game two gave the Panthers another opportunity to shine with the game much closer until the fifth inning when Chaffey scored five runs to take the board to 9-6. Isabella Anzueto pitched the first four for the win. Paniagua got the save giving up a solo run in three innings.
The Panthers are at LA Valley tomorrow and will host Santa Monica Friday and Santa Barbara Saturday (doubleheader).
