San Pablo, Calif. - Freshman Austin Menesini led the Falcon battery with a 4-for-5 outing as Solano defeated Contra Costa, 10-7, to take the series on Thursday afternoon.

Menesini counted a double and home run, good for four RBI, while scoring a pair of runs. Freshman Victor Vega posted a 3-for-5 outing with a pair of runs and a RBI, while freshman Dillon Nosrati rounded our the Falcons with multi-hit games with a pair of hits and a RBI.

Freshman Dylan Tostrup (2-4) earned the win after tossing seven complete with nine strikeouts. Menesini backed him up for his second save of the season, throwing a two-hitter and allowing only one run.

Solano (8-16, 5-3) heads back home to wrap the series against Contra Costa on Saturday, Apr. 2 at 1 p.m.
