W. WATER POLO: HORNETS DUNK GOLDEN WEST

Fullerton took a trip to Huntington Beach on Wednesday for an Orange Empire Conference match against Golden West and handed the Rustlers a 15-3 loss.

The win boosts the Hornet's first-place conference record to an undfeated 3-0, while the GWC moves down to a tie for third with Cypress at 1-1.

FC did not hold back in the first quarter taking a 5-0 lead as four different Hornets scored a goal. In the second quater, Fullerton added 7 unanswered goals to give the team a 12-0 lead by halftime.

The Rustlers scored their first goal in the third quarter and did not score again until the end of the fourth with the game well at hand.

Three players scored 3 goals each contributing to the Fullerton College victory in Adrianna Wong, Neida Torres and Amanda Ellerbroek. Samanath Lechuga chipped in with 3 assists, while Julia Vazquez and Wong had 2. 

Up Next: The Hornets (14-2 overall, 3-0 OEC) will get back at it this weekend when they travel to the Ventura College Tournament.
