Rohnert Park, Calif. - The Solano baseball team was edged by Santa Rosa in a Friday doubleheader, 11-1 and 10-2.

Freshman Brandon Herter led the Falcons at the plate with a pair of hits on the day, including a two-run homer in the second matchup, for three RBI on the day.

On the mound, freshman Richard Mealey (2-1) and Anthony Galindo (1-1) were charged with the losses. 

Solano (3-7) remains on the road, heading to Sierra on Wednesday, May 12 for a 2:30 p.m. first pitch.
