TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College secured its fourth straight win in walk-off fashion, downing Mt. San Jacinto 7-6 on Saturday afternoon at Warrior Field.

The Warriors (4-2) never led in the game until Julio Camarena crossed the plate with the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning on a wild pitch by Eagles' (4-1) reliever Anthony Ponce.

It was a wild finish to a wild game on the mound for both teams as they combined to give up 21 walks on the day.

The ninth inning began with the Warriors trailing 6-5 after scoring two runs on no hits in the eighth inning to trim a three-run deficit down to one.

In the ninth, Elijah Tolsma tied things up with a one-out solo blast over the left-field wall, knotting things up at 6-6. For Tolsma, it was his second game-tying homer of the game as he smoked a two-run shot in the fourth inning over the same left-field wall to pull the Warriors even at 3-3.

Following Tolsma's bomb in the ninth, Camarena reached base on the 11th walk of the day by Eagles pitching and the third by Ponce. Connor Meidroth would then smack a single through the right side to put runners on first and second with one out.

The runners would advance on the first wild pitch of the inning as Ponce spiked a pitch that leaked out to the right of catcher Gavin Copeland.

On the very next pitch, Ponce's fastball got by Copleand and went all the way to the backstop. Camarena took off from third and just got under the tag attempt by Ponce to plate the winning run to complete the Warriors' comeback.

Camarena scored two runs on the day and Tolsma was 2-for-3 with two homers, two walks and three runs scored.

Mike Mulkey secured the victory on the mound as he went four and 1/3 innings of one-hit relief. He walked six but also struck out six in his second appearance of the season.

The Warriors will return to action on Thursday night as they start a three-game road series against Bakersfield. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
