GCC Baseball wins it's seventh straight, 9-4 over San Diego Mesa.
A long drive to San Diego was a lot better on the way back as the GCC Baseball Team improved to 10-2 with a 9-4 win over San Diego Mesa.
Shohei Umeki got the pitching win as he scattered seven hits and allowed just one run over five innings.
Nick Martin paced the 13 hit offense with four hits including a double. Trent MacKinney, Aaron Suval and Jake Schaffer all had two hit with MacKinney hitting a homer and a double and Schaffer doubled twice.
Glendale hosts Golden West College at 2 pm Friday at Stengel Field and then play at Golden West Saturday at noon.
