TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College scored a 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-21) Western State Conference victory over Antelope Valley on Wednesday night at the ECC Gym Complex.

The Warriors (4-9, 2-6) snapped a six-game losing skid with Wednesday's victory over the Marauders (5-9, 2-5).

Daniel Reilly led the way offensively for the Warriors as he tallied 12 kills on 27 swings, attacking at a .259 clip. Mark Antonov was also outstanding for the Warriors as he dished out 31 assists and added 11 digs with six blocks (three solo). Jake Suson also added a double-double with 11 kills and 11 digs.

For the Marauders, Luis Guerra had 11 kills with 10 digs and Connor Wachala dished out 14 assists in a losing effort.

The Warriors trailed in every set but managed to storm back in each one. In the first, they fell behind 4-0 early but answered with a 12-2 run to take a 12-6 lead and they never looked back to take a 1-0 lead.

In the second, the Warriors trailed 7-4 but responded with an 12-6 burst to take a 16-13 lead. The Marauders would erase that deficit and eventually took a 22-21 advantage, but the Warriors ran off four straight points on Turner Crump's service to take the set and a 2-0 lead.

In the third, the Warriors found themselves behind 15-10 but once again they answered with an 8-1 scoring run to take an 18-16 lead. With the teams tied 19-19, the Warriors finished things off with a 6-2 run to record the sweep and snap the losing streak.

The Warriors will return to action on Friday night when they host Santa Monica for a 6 p.m. first serve.
