For the third-straight game, the West Valley offense reached double figures in hits, as the Vikings blanked Skyline 10-0 Friday at Valhalla. A day after Curran Ozawa-Burns almost single-handedly lifted WVC to a 12-7 win at Skyline with three homers and nine RBI, Friday's contest saw eight different Vikings record one or more hits.

Ozawa-Burns again led the offense with a 3-for-4, two-RBI outing that included a two-run double in a five-run Viking first. Aran Cox, Jacob Dressler, Kyle Hartmanis and Henry Wright all had two hits. Hartmanis laced a two-run double in the first, while Wright clubbed an RBI triple in the fourth. Logan Reulman added an RBI single in the first and Weston Scoffone had a double.

The Viking defense was spectacular, backing a trio of pitchers at the top of their game with an error-free afternoon. WVC starter Ryan Sleeman earned the win with a nine-strikeout, three-hitter in four innings. Luke Short K'd three Trojans and scattered a pair of hits in his four innings, and Matt Atencio sealed the deal with two strikeouts in the ninth.
