In its final away game of the season, Citrus College dropped a 65-40 result to Antelope Valley College Wednesday night.
The Fighting Owls fall to 3-24 overall, 0-13 in the Western State Conference, while the Marauders improve to 15-12 on the year, 10-3 in conference.
Malia (Rocha) Ili led the Owls with 23 points and 10 rebounds for the double-double. She also had two assists and four steals on the night and was 9-for-12 at the charity stripe as Citrus finished twice as many free throws as AVC. Julie Garcia Man also had double-digit rebounds, snagging 14 boards in the defeat.
The Owls close out the season at home, hosting Glendale College on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
