(Wilmington CA) After two consecutive losses, Mt. SAC (7-4, 2-2) got back on the winning track with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-12, 25-14) South Coast Conference victory over host Los Angeles Harbor (3-8, 0-4) on Friday night.

Riley DeGroot led the Mounties with nine kills and eight digs, while teammate JJ Quarrels added eight kills and seven digs of her own. Allison Whiteman (seven digs, five kills) and Riannel Arevalo (six digs) also played well for Mt. SAC.

Of the Mounties' 27 kills, Ally Euston (four digs, two kills) accounted for assists on 21 of them.

Mt. SAC returns home to host Long Beach (6-4, 4-1) in an SCC contest on Wednesday, Sept. 29, at 6 p.m.
