(Whittier, CA) Host Rio Hondo College (14-9, 8-3) completed a three-game sweep of Mt. San Antonio College (8-14, 1-7) with a 7-4 South Coast Conference win on Saturday, March 18.

Travis Hobbensiefken (3-5, 2 RBI), Gibby Morales (2-4, RBI, 2B), and Damien Delgadillo (1-3) led the Mounties' offense. In addition, Elias Gomez stole a base for Mt. SAC.

Mountie starter Alec Beck (2 IP, 3 R, 3 ER) got the loss, taking his record to 1-2 on the season.

Mt. SAC travels to Brookside Park's Jackie Robinson Field to open a three-game SCC series against Pasadena City College (13-8, 6-4) on Tuesday, March 21, at 2:30 p.m. Game 2 will take place in Walnut on Thursday, March 23, at 2:30 p.m. and Game 3 in Pasadena on Saturday, March 25, at 12 p.m.
