The Oxnard College Women's Soccer Team rebounded from their opening day loss by defeating the Glendale Vaqueros, 4-0.

OC had 25 shots on goal, with four of them finding the back of the net. Sophomore standout, Ashley Gonzalez had her first two goals of the season, on assists by Jasmine Arellano and Vanessa Mejia.  Gonzalez's first goal came at 34:00 in the first half, to put the Condors up 1-0.

Daisy Ramos scored on a feed by Leslie Cruz early in the second period.  Jennifer Cruz scored her first of the new season on an assist by Jackie Mottu.  Gonzalez capped the Condor offense with her second tally, from Mejia, at the 71-minute mark.

"We played well today as a team.  We got a good result and hope to build on this win.  (Nathallie Ojeda) made sure her teammates were working hard to create scoring opportunities for the win," commented assistant coach Emily Perez.

OC will play game number three on Friday at West LA.  Kickoff is slated for 4:00 pm.
