Fairfield, Calif. - The Solano baseball team fell to Diablo Valley, 13-3, on Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Victor Vega went 3-for-4 on the day with a run and RBI, while freshman Michael Vena posted a 2-for-2 day. Freshman Benny Piluso-Burns recorded the team's only multi-base hit with a double, while coming into the game and posting a 1-for-2 line.

Freshman Jesse Rodriguez (0-3) was the losing pitcher for the Falcons, tossing 4.2 innings, allowing 11 hits and fanning five.

Solano (1-12) returns to action on Saturday, Mar. 5 against Los Medanos in a pre-conference tournament at 1 p.m.
