The Saddleback baseball team bounced back from a loss earlier in the week with a 15-9 win at Glendale College on Friday in Glendale.  The Bobcats exploded for 15 runs and 16 hits in improving to 12-3 on the season heading into Orange Empire Conference play.

Saddleback trailed 5-4 heading into the sixth inning when the bats exploded for seven runs.  The Bobcats had two home runs in the inning as Ben Castelli went deep for the second time in the game to give Saddleback a 6-5 advantage.  Later in the inning Isaiah Morales hit a two-run shot as the Bobcats increased the lead to 11-5.

Castelli finished 3-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI while Morales was 3-for-6 with three RBI of his own.  Two others with a big day were J.C. Allen and Jack Collins.  Allen finished 3-for-5 with three runs scored, a home run and five RBI while Collins was 4-for-4 with three runs-scored.

Saddleback had 16 hits in the game, touching up Glendale pitching for nine extra-base hits.  Saddleback also had a season-high five stolen bases, with Collins swiping three of his own. 

Saddleback is now 12-3 overall heading into Orange Empire Conference (OEC) play next week.  The Bobcats will open the OEC schedule with a three-game set with Fullerton College.  Saddleback will host games on Tuesday (2:00 PM) and Saturday (12:00 PM) while Fullerton will host on Thursday (1:00 PM).
