San Bruno, Calif. - The Solano baseball team fell to Skyline, 9-1, on Tuesday afternoon.

Freshman third baseman Eli De Guzman knocked in the lone run, scored by freshman Herbie Lane, in the seventh inning. Seven Falcons counted a single each.

On the bump, freshman right-hander Andy Pitt (0-1) was charged with the loss after throwing four innings, allowing four earned runs on four hits with a pair of strikeouts.

The Falcons (2-8) return home to host American River on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m.
