(Ventura, CA) In the fourth week of the 2021 season, the Mt. SAC Beach Volleyball team traveled to Ventura College for a double dual match and lost to Moorpark, 5-0, and fell in a close match to host Ventura, 3-2, Friday (May 14).

"It was another tough week," Mt. SAC Beach Volleyball coach Danielle Diaz said.

Falling in a close 3-2 match against host Ventura, Mt. SAC had victories from No. 2 Pair's, Natalie Caravantes/Alyssa Aleman, 21-19, 18-21, 15-11 and No. 3 Pair's Bristol Christelman/Elizabeth Thomas, 21-19, 21-17.

Losing a close three-set match that ended due to injury was No. 4 Pair's Alexandra Euston/Gaby Vatkin.

"It was a close 2-2 game against Ventura, but unfortunately, our 4's pair (Euston/Vatkin) had to forfeit our last match due to an injury," Diaz added.

Mt. SAC (1-7) closes out the regular season on Friday (May 21) with matches against Moorpark (9:00 am) and Bakersfield (12:45 pm). The contests will be at the Harbor Cove Courts at the Ventura Marina and hosted by Mt. SAC.
