Warriors Offense Erupts in Run-Rule Win over LA Harbor

TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College sored in four of the five innings played en route to a 12-4 South Coast Conference victory in five innings over L.A. Harbor on Friday afternoon at the ECC Softball Field.

The Warriors (14-13, 7-7) pounded out 14 hits and had three players record three-hit days while also capitalizing on six errors from the Seahawks (5-21, 1-12).

Alyssa Lujan, Leah Madden and Jamelah Lewis all posted three hits on the day with Lujan recording two triples. Madden scored four times and Lewis scored twice.

Kayla Inzunza went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and five runs batted in, including a two-run walk-off single in the fifth inning.

Liz Cortez tossed four and 1/3 innings and allowed just one unearned run on one hit. She struck out six to record her seventh victory in the circle.

The Warriors will return to action on Tuesday with a non-conference game against Santa Ana at 3 p.m.
