The No. 2 Long Beach City College Vikings swept the LA Pierce College Brahma Bulls 3-0 on Wednesday night in the Building Q Gym. With the win, the Vikings are 11-2 overall and 6-1 in the Western State Conference.

The Vikings were unhinged as they took down the Brahma Bulls by 25-8, 25-10, and 25-12.

Freshman setter Sean Nguyen led the team with 16 assists. Nguyen also sits on the top spot on the conference leaderboard, averaging 9.12 assists per set.

Freshman outside hitter Erik Hernandez totaled five kills for the game, and also currently leads the conference, averaging 4.57 kills per set.

The Vikings will be back in conference action on Friday, March 25 at Santa Barbara City College at 6 p.m.
