Lawson was again put in field goal position, shooting a beautiful 39-yard kick through the posts to put Chaffey back in the lead with less than 3 minutes remaining.
Last year, the Panthers stunned California football by shutting out the Mounties on our homefield. It was Mt SAC's first shutout in recent history. The Mounties came into Saturday's game ranked #6 in the state and are highly favored in the National Division.
This was a huge win for Panther Football who are on a 13 game winning streak, the longest in the state. The men host Pasadena City Saturday for our annual blackout game. Pasadena is 2-1 and coming off a loss to top-ranked Saddleback last week.
