GCC Baseball wins 5th straight game, 9-6 over Chaffey
The 2020 season for the GCC Baseball Team has the decided look of those in past as they prepare to defend back to back WSC South Titles while running its non-conference mark to 8-2 with a 9-6 win at Chaffey College Tuesday Feb. 12, its 5th straight win.
GCC pounded out 13 hits and came back from an early deficit to claim the victory with Aaron Suval leading the hit parade with three hits including a solo homer and two RBI. Alex Mills also homered for one of his two hits and Hans Seo, Christian Muro and Aaron Treloar all had two hits each.
Luke Hempel got the win in relief for the Vaqs in his five innings of work scattering four walks and striking out five.
Glendale ends the week with a home game Saturday Feb. 15 at San Antonio College at noon at Stengel Field.
