Brian Hernandez puts OC up 1-0

The Condors led Compton College on Tuesday afternoon 1-0, after freshman Briana Hernandez scored her first collegiate goal. It was a terrific free kick from well outside the box, tucked in the upper left corner of the goal.
Compton got on the board on a PK in the 63rd minute, and took the lead in the 69th minute, on a goal by Jenifer Lopez.
OC tied the game on a PK of their own, by forward Paulina Tapia. Oxnard couldn't live with prosperity, however, by giving up the game winner with only three minutes left in the game.
The 3-2 loss keeps the Condors out of the win column. They will look to get some players back on Friday when they host Glendale College at 4:00.
