Compton CA-  Compton College Tartars baseball team gets the 7-4 win.

A total team effort for the Tartars was the key to their victory. The Tartars timely hitting fueled the victory over the San Bernardino Valley Roadrunners which brings the Tartars winning streak to two.

Crixtian Taveras remains hot at the plate going (3-for-4) to lead the Tartars on offense knocking in three RBI's on the day for Tartars. Johnathon Enriquez (2-for-5,) got on base twice for the Tartars while also stealing two bases and one RBI.

Adrian Lopez (3.0 IP, 2K) got the start on the mound, lasting three innings and giving up three runs. The bullpen was outstanding in the game as they only gave up one more run for the rest of the game. Relief pitcher Rene Galvan had a strong four inning outing without igiving up a run and had a game high of 4 k's

UP NEXT: The Tartars will be back on the diamond Saturday February 18th, as they play on the road against San Diego City College. First pitch is scheduled for 1pm.
