The Bakersfield College Beach Volleyball team had designs on getting one back from Ventura Friday, but it wasn't in the cards.

BC got edged out by Ventura on the road last week, and Coach Carl Ferreira and his women wanted nothing more than to return the favor in Bakersfield Friday.

"We lost 3-2, and it was an exceptional battle," Coach Ferreira said.
