Fullerton took care of business at home Wednesday night sweeping past the Santa Ana College Dons 3-0.
It was a good Orange Empire Conference victory that bumps the Hornets to 4-3 in the standings creating a three-way tie for third place with Golden West and Saddleback.
FC came out strong in all three sets taking big early leads, which Santa Ana could not recover from. Fullerton won all three in convincing fashion 25-12, 25-15, 25-10.
FC's Hannah Wilmes came up big against the Dons with game-high 13 kills. She also added 5 digs. Faith Webb contibuted 6 kills with 11 digs, while McKenna Mokry had 5 kills with 5 digs. Hannah Tobin led the team with 20 digs, and Alicia Isa Domingo led Fullerton in assists with 23.
