Warriors Mauled by Tigers at No. 1 Riverside

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The El Camino College Warriors were defeated on the road at the No. 1 Riverside City College on Saturday at the Rams House at Ramona High School. 

The Warriors fall to 3-5 overall and 0-3 in conference play.  

The Warriors offense could only muster 286 yards of total offense while the Tigers gained 652 yards on offense.  The Tigers had 529 passing yards to El Camino's 215 and 123 rushing yards to the Warriors 71 yards.

The Warriors were down 10-0 after the first quarter of play.  The Tigers rattled off four touchdowns to the Warriors one touchdown in the second period to take a 38-to-7 lead into the half.  Riverside would score one more touchdown in the second half and the Warriors scored a field goal to finish the game at 45-10.

Jeliun Carter led the Warrior offense going 8-15 for 172 yards and one touchdown pass.  Brenden Hodge had 4 receptions for 69 yards and Joshua Lorick had 3 receptions for 68 yards.

Koa Carroll led the defense with 9 tackles.  Jacob Kalolo had 5 tackles and forced one fumble. DJ Morgan and Justin Evans both had one interception.  

The Warriors will play their final home game of the season on Saturday, November 5th against Chaffey College.  Kick-off is set for 1:00 p.m. at Murdock Stadium.
